Andia Meksi holds a BSc and MA degree in clinical psychology from the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Tirana, respectively earned in 2005 and 2013. Currently, she is a PhD student at the University of Medicine Tirana. During the last 10 years of her professional career, Ms. Meksi has participated in many national and international long term trainings organized from international organizations such as WHO, UNODC, Colombo Plan- Drug Advisory Board, SWISS Tropical and Public Health Institute, Israel Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, London Institute of Group Analysis, etc.
Andia offers expertise in e-health in mental health, mental health treatment in community based services, mental health in prison, prevention and treatment of substance use disorders, CBT and group therapy.
She has participated in many projects related to mental health and substance use treatment implemented by national and international organizations such as WHO, UNODC, UNICEF. She has participated in many national and international conferences and has presented in some of them. Also, she has co-authored in some scientific papers published in the country.
