Englantina Mersini

 

She has studied Elementary Level Teaching at the University of Elbasan and further on she graduated in ‘Psychology, Education and Organization’ at the  Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Tirana. She pursued her second master level studies in “Psychological Counseling” at the Faculty of Social Sciences, UT.
She has also completed an intensive specialization on Psychotherapy for Children and Adolescents, recognized by the University of Hamburg-Eppendorf. For 16 years (ongoing) she has been working as a psychologist at the Psycho-Social Care Sector / Tirana Municipality.
She is one of the first early childhood specialists in this sector, co-author of various educational programs and parenting manuals on early childhood, while also working with this target group in her private practice. She has had several lecturing experiences at public and non-public universities.
Englantina is part of the first generation of professionals who have completed Cognitive – Behavioral Psychotherapy Training from ITA (Israeli Assocciation of CBT), in recognition process by EABCT. In 2020 she finished the qualification as individual therapist of Schema Therapy recognized by ISST, USA .
Also, she is part of the first group of students in training for the qualification program as a Group Analyst offered by the Institute of Group Analysis (London), in the modality of Group Analytic Psychotherapy under supervision.
