Tea Maneku

She has finished her bachelor studies in Psychology at the University of Tirana, Faculty of Social Sciences from 2012- 2015. She than continued her education in Austria on Psychotherapy Science, specializing in Psychoanalysis. She finished the state approved cycle of the psychotherapy education “Propadeutikum & Fachspezifikum”, confirmed by the Ministry of Health in Austria and is currently working as a psychoanalyst under supervision in Vienna.
Throughout her studies in Vienna she was regularly working at the university clinic, Sigmund Freud Ambulanz and also participated in a social project engaged in providing short term psychotherapy with a focus on Post-Traumatic-Stress-Disorder to refugees requesting asylum in Austria. Currently she is undergoing the training in Group Analysis organized by the Institute of Group Analysis (IGA, London) in Tirana. Her interest in in the modality of psychoanalysis and it`s theoretical combinations with Social Sciences inspire her education not to be confined by the university curricula but also actively participating in social & cultural organizations which inform and inspire a multidisciplinary approach towards understanding the complexity of the human psyche and the socio-economic aspects that underlie the latter.
